This series will explore some of the idols who have so much modeling potential that people who see them for the first time might confuse them with models instead of K-Pop idols. EXO’s Kai opened the series for us, followed by SF9’s Yoo TaeYang, CIX’s Bae JinYoung, ASTRO’s Cha EunWoo, Weki Meki’s Kim DoYeon, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, BTS’s V, NCT’s JaeHyun, MONSTA X’s HyungWon, EXO’s SeHun, Girls’ Generation’s YoonA, Red Velvet’s Joy, SunMi, and HyunA. Readers voted for SF9’s RoWoon in our weekly poll (at the end of the article) to be featured this week. RoWoon is famous as a member of SF9. They are known as a group with overflowing charisma and that description definitely suits RoWoon as well. RoWoon has been and is currently the brand ambassador for several brands including KLAVUU, Gong Cha, North Face, and more. This year, he was selected as the brand ambassador for Estée Lauder Korea, too.
In 2019, RoWoon walked the runway at the ‘2019 S/S Hera Seoul Fashion Week’ for the Sewing Boundaries Collection. He is one of the most in-demand models amongst K-Pop idols even just to attend events, including the Tommy Hilfiger show at ‘London Fashion Week’ in 2020. Naturally, this makes sense as he has the perfect body to pull off any fashion design. He is tall, at 190cm (according to his interview with Cosmopolitan in Aug. 2021), with a fit and muscular physique. In fact, he even gets praise for how his height creates the cutest height differences alongside his female leads in romantic dramas. Let’s take a moment to appreciate his gorgeous physique. He works very hard in the gym and is on a strict diet to maintain his figure. Let’s take another moment for his beautiful facial proportions and features. He has the prettiest eyelashes, eyebrows, and a mole that accentuates his visuals. One of RoWoon’s best modeling traits, and what makes him the perfect luxury brand model, is his gentlemanly handsomeness. He is especially known for looking like a model in his boyfriend material pictures that he posts on Instagram.
